This Mattes Lambskin Half Pad with front and back trim is specially shaped for jumping saddles. The pad is fully lined with real lambskin, which is a natural shock absorber. This pad also features the SPINEFREE® center, which ensures maximum comfort, fit, and freedom of movement for the horse.
My Jumping Saddles experts have tested these pads with a pressure measuring device, and this pad has a shock absorption of 35% in comparison with using no half pad.

Mattes products care

To keep your Mattes product in the best shape possible, you have to wash it at least once a week with Mattes’ special lambskin laundry detergent. Wash it at 30° C with extra water. Add 3-4 liters of water about 10 minutes after the program has started. Tumble dry at 30° C or on a cold cycle. As a result, the wool gets open and fluffy and the leather stays soft. Never let dry in the sun or another heat source. Can be air-dried in the shade.
