The Bucas Tail Protector offers great protection for the horse’s tail with a padded wrap around the dock. This protection comes from the elasticated secure fastening around the tail. The Hook and Loop feature brings extra security. This means you can attach the Tail Protector to your Bucas Rug to prevent it from slipping down.

Do you not have a Loop feature on your blanket? No fear! This Bucas Tail bag comes with an extra piece of fabric that you can sow onto your own blanket. It also has an integrated tail bag to help keep your horse’s tail clean while traveling.

Maintenance Advice

Shavings can easily be brushed off of the tail cover. To clean the cover, you can wash the rug accessory in the washing machine at 30°C. To dry the accessory, simply hang it outside on a sunny day. Do not tumble dry.
